We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, subscribe to Pro Membership, or use our platform. This includes:
• Account information: Your name, email address, and password.
• Professional profile: Business name, phone number, city, state, bio, specialties, travel radius, and profile image (for pros).
• Credentials: License type, number, state, expiry, and uploaded documents for verification purposes.
• Payment information: Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Booking and messaging data: Booking details, client names, contact info, and messages exchanged between pros and clients.
• Location data: Approximate location (city/state) for pro discovery and distance calculations. Pros may optionally share live location during appointments for safety purposes.
We use your information to:
• Create and manage your account
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Verify professional credentials and maintain platform trust
• Match clients with beauty professionals in their area
• Facilitate bookings, messaging, and reminders
• Provide safety features such as live location sharing with trusted contacts
• Send service-related emails (booking confirmations, reminders, account updates)
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:
• With clients: Pro profiles (business name, bio, specialties, location, services, portfolio) are visible to clients on the discovery page once the pro's credentials are verified.
• With payment processors: Stripe processes all subscription payments securely.
• With trusted safety contacts: Pros may designate a trusted contact who receives a live location sharing link during appointments.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly from your Dashboard → Account → Danger Zone section — no need to contact support.
When you delete your account, the following happens immediately:
• Your Pro Membership subscription is cancelled and you will no longer be billed or have access to pro features.
• Your profile, bookings, messages, client data, credentials, portfolio, and all associated records are permanently removed from our database.
• You will be logged out and will no longer be able to access the platform with this account.
This action cannot be undone. Stripe may retain billing transaction records separately in accordance with their own data retention policies.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of promotional emails (service-related emails will still be sent)

GlowPro is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Our app uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and provide core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or sell tracking data to third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
